As 2019 was turning into 2020, our area of Michigan suffered an intense winter storm. That storm took out my previous business of making planner stickers (PeachyChicCo). PCC was my first shop – the first thing I did completely on my own. Talk about a one-person show – I was the designer, manufacturer, CEO, shipper, accountant...you get it.

The closing of that shop took a toll on me in more ways than one. I wasn’t sure if I would ever be able to open up again or if I even had it in me to put myself back in that role. I took the rest of 2020 off because..well, you know. But something just kept eating away at me – I needed to keep creating things.

I have always been a crafter - I started out very young in scrapbooking and memory keeping, moved on to photography, and have only kept going. Creating has always been my most important outlet.

My hobbies/crafts may have shifted some since the launch of my first shop in 2015, and so Clark & Cord reflects that. Planning will always be my love language, so you will never not find planning (and journaling) stickers here at Clark & Cord. But bringing comfort and cozy feelings to your home and everyday life makes my heart happy, and hopefully yours too.

So here we are – it’s 2022. I’m ready for something new to pour myself into and ready to be back in the role of shop-owner. About our products…

Almost all of the stickers at Clark & Cord are made with matte transparent paper — This is great news because..

• transparent paper means you can plan and journal on paper that isn’t 100% white and your stickers will blend right in

• your planner can keep a slimmer profile since our sticker paper is ultra-thin and doesn’t add too much bulk to your pages

• if you like to layer icons with transparent shapes or just like to collage in general, our transparent sticker paper allows for all of it!

• you can write on our stickers with just about any pen — we’ve tested so many gel, ballpoint, felt-tip pens and even some fountain inks! (if you’re unsure about a particular ink and don’t want your writing to smear, we suggest trying your favorite pen on the “negative” part of a sticker sheet first.)

Any stickers that aren’t made with matte transparent paper are created on Kraft sticker paper, which is just as nice to collage and decorate with — and only a little bit thicker than our transparent paper.
